Han Chang counsels technology companies on a broad range of privacy and data security matters. Han advises on compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); drafts privacy policies, data protection agreements, and privacy terms in commercial agreements; and provides privacy and cybersecurity support for mergers and acquisitions (M&A), venture capital investments, and other transactions.
Han also assists clients on various intellectual property (IP), technology, and commercial matters, including technology license and assignment, IP development, strategic collaboration, and online services terms. His product counseling experience includes advising on data privacy and IP issues in connection with cloud service product and feature launches.
While earning his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, Han received the Certificate of Specialization in Law and Technology and pro bono honors.
