Of the national law firms handling the most patent defense cases, Perkins Coie ranked second, with 72 cases across 18 jurisdictions. The firm also ranked as one of the most active firms for petitioners in post-grant proceedings.

Lex Machina’s Patent Litigation Report summarizes federal district court data from the past decade and post-grant data since the PTAB’s inception in 2012. The report also provides key patent litigation trends that have emerged over the past year.
