Counsel Henry Hauser was quoted in "Taylor Swift Debacle Rekindles Ticketmaster Antitrust Worries," an article in Bloomberg Businessweek,* regarding the U.S. Department of Justice’s opening of a new antitrust probe into one of the largest concert promotion and ticketing companies in the world.

 

The Justice Department made a “strategic choice” in 2019 to renegotiate the settlement instead of pursuing a bigger case against Ticketmaster, says Henry, a former DOJ antitrust lawyer, [now an antitrust counsel at the law firm Perkins Coie]. “DOJ got to say this is a win without going to trial … There’s still a lot on the table” they could pursue now.
