Bill Malley and Richard Sevcik were quoted in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin* article, "Perkins Coie’s New Leader Expects Growth of Chicago Office," regarding the firm's goal of expansion in Chicago and other major markets.

“We intend to continue that emphasis on growing offices in major markets, including Chicago, Washington, D.C., the Bay Area and others,” said Bill, who was previously the managing partner of the D.C. office.

Richard, the firm’s Chicago managing partner, said he anticipates the Chicago office will keep expanding its corporate, mergers and acquisitions and litigation practice areas. “There are a variety of other areas that we also looking to expand to as well, so we are looking at really broad growth in the Chicago office to meet the needs of our clients,” he said. “Bill will continue to be supportive to grow the office, as he mentioned, yet maintaining the culture of firm and of our office that is so important to all of us.”
