Seattle Associate Tommy Tobin was named one of the Top 40 Young Lawyers by the American Bar Association (ABA) for 2022. The ABA’s “On the Rise – Top 40 Young Lawyer Awards” recognize young attorneys who exemplify “a broad range of high achievement, innovation, vision, leadership, and legal and community service.” Tommy’s practice focuses on class action litigation and regulatory counseling for food, consumer-packaged goods, and cannabis companies. Tommy recently edited the ABA’s Food Law: A Practical Guide, a book designed to assist practitioners in meeting the needs of food and beverage clients. With Partner David Biderman, Tommy served as a lecturer at UCLA Law for the seminar, “Food Litigation: Consumer Protection, Regulation, and Class Actions.” Tommy currently sits on the ABA’s Science & Technology Section Council, chairs its Food, Cosmetics, & Nutraceuticals Committee, and also serves on the ABA’s New Lawyer Steering Committee for the Center for Professional Responsibility. Tommy is regularly cited in the media on food litigation matters, including Business Insider, The Wall Street Journal, and NPR.
