Allan Low was quoted in “San Francisco's Japantown Battles to Survive,” an article in SFGate, regarding how COVID-19 is affecting the iconic historic institution.

Legal advocates agree. “Of the 44 [Japantown and Chinatown] tenants we represent, the losses range from $3,000 to $17,000 per month. It’s awful,” says Allan Low of Perkins Coie law firm. “My fear is these businesses may not survive the economic calamity that comes from this pandemic.” If tenants get evicted from the mall, he says, it would be “catastrophic.”
