Overview

Erick Haynie is a commercial trial lawyer. Over his 25 years of practice, Erick has tried over 57 matters to judgment in addition to numerous injunctive proceedings and dispositive motions. In recent years, his focus has been on the trial of real estate disputes, commercial lease disputes, complex business torts and large contract disputes. Erick practices regularly in the United States District Court for the State of Oregon and in Oregon's state courts, particularly in Oregon's rural and eastern counties. Erick also represents tax payers before the Oregon Tax Court.

Erick also maintains an active pro bono practice. Erick has served on the firm’s Pro Bono Committee and received the firm’s national Pro Bono Leadership award in 2004. Legal Aid Services of Oregon also recognized Erick for his pro bono contributions to Oregon’s rural communities with its "Community Partnership Award," that organization’s highest award. Erick focuses his pro bono practice on serving low income Oregonians and crime victims in rural Oregon. Erick also advises a number of non-profit organizations, on a pro bono basis, in the Columbia River Gorge.
