Stacy Young

Stacy advises technology and life sciences companies on complex regulatory issues at the intersection of data, AI, and emerging technology.

Drawing on her extensive experience in technology matters, Stacy Young counsels clients on the full “alphabet soup” of technology regulation in the EU and UK, including the GDPR, NIS2, the EU AI Act, the EU Digital Services Act, and the UK Online Safety Act.

Stacy regularly advises companies on product and platform compliance, cookie practices, and global B2B/B2C marketing and advertising programs. She also advises on the development and deployment of new technologies—such as AI-powered search engines, autonomous vehicles, and checkout-free retail technology—and tracks litigation and policy developments relating to AI and copyright. In addition, she has experience helping companies respond to cybersecurity incidents and comply with global incident notification obligations.

In the life sciences sector, Stacy advises on international clinical-trial data flows, patient consent forms, and marketing communications with healthcare professionals.

Stacy maintains an active pro bono practice, providing privacy guidance to nonprofits supporting survivors of sexual violence and facilitating diagnoses for medical disorders and delivering GDPR training sessions.
