Known for his writing and oral advocacy skills, David Watnick is a creative legal strategist keen at identifying novel arguments to reorient challenging cases and deliver successful outcomes under pressure. He has a deep knowledge of Oregon government law and extensive experience litigating against state and local government bodies. He also defends clients in consumer and privacy class actions, and frequently authors briefs in appellate courts across the country.
David clerked for the Honorable Gilbert S. Merritt of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the Honorable Richard Seeborg of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
