Zachary E. Davison is a proven leader among the next generation of trial lawyers who consistently secures decisive wins for his clients in federal and state courts around the country. His recent client victories include procuring summary judgment restoring possession of a client’s commercial property, obtaining complete dismissal of claims against an individual client in a derivative dispute involving a real estate holding company, and securing a favorable resolution to a condemnation action following a multiweek bench trial.
Zach focuses his practice on real estate, securities, and corporate governance disputes. In his real estate practice, Zach represents clients with varying property and leasehold interests in prosecuting and defending against contract, tort, and statutory claims, including expedited claims brought under Washington’s unlawful detainer statute. Zach takes a business-minded approach to counseling real estate investors, commercial tenants and landlords, and lenders and financial institutions in protecting their real estate interests and tailoring corresponding litigation strategy.
In his securities and corporate governance practices, Zach represents companies, their officers, and their directors in shareholder class actions, derivative lawsuits, and mergers and acquisition litigation. Zach has represented multiple clients defending claims under the Washington State Securities Act, some of which involved the purchase and sale of cryptocurrencies and other alternative investments. His deep experience spans prelawsuit investigations, dispositive motion practice, complex discovery campaigns, trials, appeals, and post-judgment enforcement. Zach recently served as lead counsel in a multiweek bench trial involving contract and fraud claims stemming from a reverse merger transaction.
