Wei counsels clients on IP issues, with an emphasis on patent litigation.

Dr. Wei Yuan is an experienced patent litigator and strategic adviser who brings deep technical expertise to complex IP disputes. With a Ph.D. in engineering and a Bachelor of Science in computer science, Wei navigates high-stakes patent litigation in U.S. district courts, Section 337 investigations before the International Trade Commission, and patent validity challenges before the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board. 

Serving as a critical bridge for international clients, Wei frequently advises foreign technology companies on U.S. IP strategy and cross-border disputes and provides practical counsel on freedom-to-operate, non-infringement, invalidity, and design-around issues. Drawing on his experience as a former U.S. Patent and Trademark Office examiner, Wei also manages complex global patent portfolios and prosecutes applications both domestically and internationally.
