Valeria Bystrowicz Liendo advises emerging growth companies and established technology companies in the United States and Latin American throughout their life cycles, from formation to venture financings and M&A. She has experience representing both venture capital firms and emerging companies in financing rounds and is well-versed in all aspects of acquisition deals. Her corporate governance practice includes employment compensation, fundraising strategy, data security, privacy, intellectual property issues and regulatory compliance matters.
Valeria successfully manages venture capital firms and investment bank accounts in private and public financings, as well as U.S. clients in complex cross-border transactions, corporate reorganizations and joint ventures. She has set up a wide range of legal and fiduciary structures for U.S. investments in Latin America.
Previously as director of investor relations at a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm, Valeria assisted in the selection of Latin American companies that wanted to expand into the United States. She performed the necessary due diligence to determine if the company was ready for expansion and counseled the companies on how to successfully operate in the United States.
