Overview

Rike Connelly represents clients throughout the various stages of civil litigation, from advising on the need to bring litigation through the appeal process. Rike works to understand her client’s business to ensure the litigation strategy aligns with the client’s needs, goals and business interests. She focuses on complex business litigation, especially disputes involving trade secrets, contract disputes and administrative law.

Rike regularly engages in litigation requiring the collection and processing of electronic discovery and forensic computing analysis. With extensive experience managing large cases with significant discovery needs, Rike leverages the latest technology to create a customized e-discovery litigation plan for every client. She also represents clients before the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board to advocate for new or changed regulations, including challenging the agency’s actions in court under the state Administrative Procedure Act.

Contributing to the community is an important part of Rike’s practice. She maintains an active pro bono practice, where she helps individuals with immigration matters and also contributes to strategic, systemic litigation to advance civil rights issues. She edits the annual Court Rules Annotated (Washington) for the Superior and General Court Rules of Washington State and serves on the Washington State Bar Association’s Rule Committee.
