Overview

Steven Beigelmacher provides strategic portfolio counseling and analysis to technology clients. Informed by his technical training and experience, he has advised clients on groundbreaking matters covering an array of technologies, including computer architecture and microarchitecture, hardware design, semiconductors, telecommunications, software, and the internet. 

Steven advises clients on patent analytics, leads efforts directed to patent due diligence, determines patent sales and acquisitions valuations, and develops comparative portfolio analyses. He handles inter partes reviews (IPRs), other post-grant proceedings, and related litigation. Steven also provides patent prosecution counseling and assists clients through all phases of U.S. and foreign patent procurement.

Prior to joining Perkins Coie, Steven was a senior design engineer at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), where he worked on the architectural design team responsible for several high-performance and energy-efficient x86 microprocessors. While in school, Steven held fall co-op and summer internship positions with a leading semiconductor company, where he supported efforts related to post-manufacture validation of computer chipsets and integrated circuit design for testability.
