Stevan has experience litigating all phases of complex patent disputes in venues throughout the country, including in courts with heavy patent dockets.
Stevan Stark's practice spans an array of technologies, including networking and internet technologies, cloud-based technologies, image processing, video game consoles, mobile devices, software, and electronic and mechanical devices.
Stevan has prepared successful case dispositive motions, argued before U.S. district courts, and handled all phases of discovery, including preparing witnesses and taking and defending depositions, all with an eye toward minimizing expansive discovery. He has represented clients at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and has successfully defended and challenged patents at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
A former practicing software engineer with a degree in computer science, Stevan worked for nine years as an engineer in computer imaging, medical devices, and internet and cable-related technologies prior to becoming a lawyer. Throughout his professional career, Stevan has proven his value to clients with his ability to successfully advocate for technology companies and effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of client organizations.
