Overview

Scott Wallace focuses his practice on personal, tax and estate planning for individuals, families and family offices. Scott works with clients to minimize estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes through the creation of wills, trusts, business entities and charitable organizations, as well as through the use of gifts, sales and other sophisticated wealth-transfer strategies. He provides tax-efficient planning for individuals and families, fiduciary representation, estate and trust administration, involvement in nonjudicial trust and estate dispute resolutions, formation and administration of charitable organizations, and preparation of gift and estate tax returns.

In implementing estate planning strategies, Scott helps clients establish a variety of trusts to meet their planning goals, which can include irrevocable gift trusts for the benefit of a spouse and/or descendants, grantor retained annuity trusts, intentionally defective grantor trusts and irrevocable life insurance trusts.

When away from the office, Scott enjoys spending time with his young family, supporting local sports teams, exploring new restaurants and playing the occasional round of golf.
