Raul Beke represents publicly traded and privately held companies, assisting them with corporate governance, strategic transactions, regulatory compliance, commercial agreements, and various legal and business issues emerging from day-to-day operations. He is frequently involved in matters where intellectual property or technology is the key value driver and predominantly in the industries of technology, business services, and those that involve substantial regulatory oversight.
Serving as the primary associate for multiple clients, Raul provides legal and business advice to members of senior management and the board of directors for various public and private companies. He has developed significant experience drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements, including purchase agreements (asset, stock, and merger), letters of intent and term sheets, agreements related to intellectual property (licensing, consulting, confidentiality, and assignment), noncompetition agreements, investment agreements, and equipment lease agreements.
Throughout transactions, Raul manages teams composed of subject-matter experts, junior associates, paralegals, outside counsel, investors, bankers, brokers, underwriters, and employees of clients (officers and directors, employees with technical understandings of products or services, and various department leads). He emphasizes collaboration at all levels, routinely consulting with subject-matter experts on various legal and business issues (data security, international trade, intellectual property enforcement, employment, and tax) to communicate technical concepts for business teams and other attorneys and provide pragmatic advice for solving or handling these issues.
Raul is committed to an active pro bono practice, and in 2021 was honored by the firm for committing more than 100 hours to this work. He was appointed to the firm’s Practice Technology and Innovation committee.
