Michael Avent serves as corporate counsel to emerging growth technology and life sciences companies in the negotiation and closing of debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements and general corporate matters. Michael also works closely with a number of venture capitalists and high-profile corporate venture groups investing in high growth companies.
Michael works with clients across a range of industries and technologies including artificial intelligence and machine learning; augmented reality and virtual reality; blockchain; software-as-a-service (SaaS); fintech; aerospace and defense; retail; and biotech.
