Associate Alex Pratt has experience litigating claims involving discrimination and retaliation, non-competition agreements, and trade secrets. He has assisted clients through all phases of litigation by drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery. He has also assisted with court hearings, trials, mediations, and depositions. Alex also provides clients with practical advice on their employment policies and practices. He conducts internal investigations into sensitive matters and creates policies designed to shield his clients from the obstacles facing employers today. Alex is active with pro bono work and has been engaged to give presentations on sexual harassment and has also revised a nonprofit school’s employee handbook.
Alex previously interned for Magistrate Judge Renee Harris Toliver of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, where he made recommendations for rulings on motions and drafted orders. While attending the University of Texas School of Law, Alex was the staff editor and articles editor for The Review of Litigation.
