Overview

Megan Houlihan is an appellate and trial litigator in the firm’s Business Litigation practice. Meg’s trial court practice includes a wide range of commercial disputes, including class actions, trade secrets, statutory interpretations, and constitutional questions. Given her ease with witnesses and in the courtroom, Meg is routinely called upon to examine witnesses and present oral arguments in the trial court.

In her appellate practice, Meg is distinguished amongst firm members for her writing talent and often leverages her clerkship with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She has briefed a variety of issues in both state and federal appellate courts and has successfully argued cases in the Oregon Court of Appeals and the Ninth Circuit.

After earning her J.D. from Yale Law School, Meg clerked for the Hon. Michael Simon of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon and for the Hon. Morgan Christen of the Ninth Circuit. She has been named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers consecutively for the past three years.
