Overview

Margo Jasukaitis focuses her practice on employment litigation and counseling. Her experience runs the gamut from representing employers in both single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits to advising companies on discrete issues and helping draft employment agreements and handbooks.

Margo’s litigation experience includes defending employers against a variety of claims, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims brought under both federal and state law. She has also represented companies in arbitrations, drafting briefs on topics including job misclassification and contract interpretation.

Before joining Perkins Coie, Margo gained valuable experience litigating federal appeals as a student attorney in Georgetown’s Appellate Courts Immersion Clinic. While there, she co-authored “Defining ‘Regular Occupation’ in Long-Term Disability Insurance Policies,” which was published in the Yale Journal of Health Policy, Law, and Ethics.

Prior to law school, Margo worked at a strategic communications firm in Seattle, where she helped clients across a variety of industries develop and implement public relations plans and handle communications in times of crisis.
