Lin Ruan’s practice involves drafting and implementing intentionally defective grantor trusts, nongrantor trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, split-interest charitable trusts, and entity formation and funding. Lin also counsels clients on privacy and asset protection strategies, community property considerations, and California real property matters.
Prior to joining Perkins Coie, Lin advised clients on federal tax implications related to domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, restructurings, and divestitures across a broad range of industries.
