Lauren Pardee Ruben focuses on appellate litigation and dispositive motions. She has drafted briefs filed in the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. courts of appeals, state appellate courts, and various trial courts across the country. Her practice covers a wide range of subject areas and issues, including civil procedure, class-action litigation, constitutional law, statutory interpretation, and complex commercial litigation.
Before joining Perkins Coie, Lauren served as a judicial clerk on the U.S. Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She also practiced appellate litigation at a leading national law firm.
Lauren earned her law degree from Yale Law School, where she served as an editor of the Yale Law Journal, and graduated summa cum laude from Columbia University.
Lauren maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing on immigration and civil rights matters.
