Lara manages a diverse range of pre-litigation, litigation, and arbitration matters, guiding cases from initial pleadings and discovery through law and motion practice to resolution.

Lara Grines focuses on employment litigation and counseling, representing clients in a broad spectrum of matters including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, failure to accommodate disabilities, failure to engage in the interactive process, wrongful termination, wage-and-hour class and collective actions, and California Private Attorney General Act matters. She provides strategic counsel on various issues such as employee terminations, drafting employment and separation agreements, developing employee handbooks, and creating comprehensive employment policies and procedures.

Lara is experienced in conducting workplace investigations into allegations of discrimination and harassment, with particular knowledge in matters involving C-suite and other high-level employees. She also has significant experience advising on both buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, regularly counseling clients on the employment implications of corporate transactions. Lara is known for her practical, business-oriented approach to client counseling, helping organizations proactively identify and mitigate risk while supporting their business objectives. She frequently partners with clients to develop and implement compliance strategies, and is adept at navigating complex, high-stakes disputes in both state and federal courts.
