Overview

Kevin Boully, Ph.D. helps lawyers find and develop their most persuasive arguments, language, and stories. For more than 20 years, he has combined his scientific training, including a doctorate in legal communications and a master’s degree in forensic psychology, with a passion for storytelling and a skill for perceiving the right approach to persuade at all phases of litigation.

Kevin has researched and advised on the full range of civil litigation with a heavy emphasis on patent litigation. His experience also includes significant depth in complex commercial, personal injury and mass injury, and products liability cases. His work extends across the nation in both federal and state jurisdictions from the largest and most active dockets to small venues with unique populations. He also routinely assists non-jury decision-makers of all types, from arbitration panels to sophisticated bench trials and more.

He has published extensively and presented nationally on persuasion in litigation and is the co-author of Patently Persuasive, published by the American Bar Association. Kevin is currently the president of the American Society of Trial Consultants and has served on the ASTC Board of Directors since 2019.
