Juan José Fonseca Angel is an associate in the firm’s Insurance Recovery practice. He counsels corporations on complex insurance coverage matters, including analyzing insurance policies and assisting with policy placement and renewals. Juan works with policyholders in a wide range of industries, including real estate, food manufacture, e-commerce, hospitality, technology, and retail.
Maintaining an active pro bono practice, Juan represents nonprofit organizations in a variety of matters, as well as individuals in immigration and veteran cases. Juan has conducted screenings and provided legal assistance to noncitizens detained by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). He also has filed humanitarian relief applications for noncitizens facing persecution in their home countries.
Born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, Juan is fluent in Spanish.
