Jon Buck is a trial lawyer and partner in the firm's Chicago office. He has extensive experience representing numerous FORTUNE 500 companies as well as public and private entities in complex litigation, including most notably in cases involving financial fraud, professional and product liability, shareholder disputes and derivative claims and injunctive proceedings. Jon has successfully won judgments for his clients in both jury and bench trials as well as international and domestic arbitrations.
Jon also has extensive experience with white collar investigations and defense work, and he regularly represents individuals and companies in investigations and related civil and criminal litigation, including in cases involving investigations by the Department of Justice and Securities and Exchange Commission, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) issues, insider trading, financial fraud, municipal bond disclosures and trade secret theft. He has investigated fraud allegations, corruption and corporate compliance issues in Central and South America, Europe and China, as well as in the United States.
