Jessica Tseng Hasen uses technology to drive efficient, defensible results for clients and tackles complex challenges with a sharp focus on both legal and business priorities. She is recognized for handling high-stakes matters, including managing discovery of 64 million records across multiple multidistrict litigations and regulatory investigations, as well as leading a rapid Technology Assisted Review in response to a Hart-Scott-Rodino second request. She advises clients on e-discovery strategy and use of artificial intelligence in litigation and regulatory and internal investigations, with particular experience in the aviation, technology, and consumer sectors. Jessica also counsels clients on litigation readiness and information governance, including drafting and operationalizing data retention policies.
Jessica helped build the firm's E-Discovery Services & Strategy practice and currently leads that firmwide team, which focuses on solving legal issues with people, process, and technology. Jessica is a thought leader and a sought-after speaker on legal tech issues. Her pro bono practice has included civil rights litigation and anti-trafficking cases.
