Commercial litigator Jeff Hanson has more than 15 years of experience in dispute resolution. In his diverse practice, Jeff represents clients in disputes related to breach of contract, commercial lease disputes, mergers and acquisitions, unfair practices under the Federal Trade Commission Act, business torts, employment claims, copyright infringement, trademark infringement, trade secrets misappropriation and other commercial matters. In addition, Jeff provides a litigation-prevention perspective in his counsel on contract issues and other pre-litigation disputes.
Jeff represents a range of clients, large and small, and he has won dismissals, summary judgment and at trial in state and federal courts on clients’ behalf. He often draws from his background in mathematics and statistics to analyze objectively the strengths and weaknesses of a case and to assess risk. Jeff’s industry experience includes working with clients in such sectors as online retail, telecommunications and aerospace.
