Employing decades of experience with first party insurance claims, Jim is leading the Perkins Coie Insurance Recovery practice’s pursuit of property, business interruption, and pollution coverage for COVID-19 losses, including current claims for clients in hospitality, hotel, mall, food processing, retail, office space, and higher education.
Cyber Liability Insurance
Jim is at the forefront of cyber liability insurance, including insurance coverage for data breaches, and has assisted numerous clients with negotiating better policy terms as well as navigating complex coverage claims and disputes.
Directors & Officers Coverage
In addition to assisting companies and directors with negotiating improved D&O policy terms, Jim is representing private equity funds and operating companies with D&O coverage claims, while counseling clients on D&O issues with SPAC/de-SPAC transactions.
