Jake counsels and advises clients throughout the United States and international jurisdictions at all stages of the construction process.
Jake Weisbecker negotiates hundreds of millions of dollars in projects on behalf of private and public owners annually. In the private sector, Jake represents private building owners, technology companies, apparel retailers, developers, energy companies, professional sports teams and venues, hotels and resorts, residential owners, architects, and contractors. In the public sector, Jake has negotiated on behalf of school districts, airports, and cities.
As part of his practice, Jake has extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex design and construction contracts using modified industry standard contract templates and bespoke agreements. He knows the best way to achieve clients' goals is to fully understand their needs and develop a contract and approach tailored to specific project circumstances.
He also assists clients with resolving construction related disputes and advises on mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
Jake received his B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College and his J.D. from the University of Illinois. Prior to law school, Jake managed multiple political campaigns and worked in the government of Washington state.
