Overview

Garmai Gorlorwulu is an associate in the firm’s Litigation practice. She has experience drafting briefs and filings and navigating the discovery process. Garmai also has experience with emerging technologies designed to utilize the full power of computer learning and artificial intelligence (AI) to achieve cost-effective and top-of-the-line outcomes. She brings a fresh perspective to discovery challenges, research, and drafting.

Prior to law school, Garmai worked for an immigration law firm, assisting clients with their family immigration cases. Having worked in various roles in the legal profession, she is passionate about efficient systems and project management and is constantly iterating to meet her clients’ needs.

Garmai earned her J.D. from Duke University School of Law, where she served as special projects editor of the Duke Journal of Constitutional Law & Public Policy. She was a William Louis-Dreyfus scholar and received the Outstanding Contribution to the Duke Law Community Award at the 2021 Duke Outstanding and Noteworthy Endeavors (D.O.N.E.) Awards.
