With a background in social science and policy, Gabriella brings an interdisciplinary perspective to client matters and translates complex issues into clear, actionable advice.
Gabriella Romanos advises corporate and individual clients on commercial disputes, government and internal investigations, and regulatory and white-collar defense proceedings before state and federal courts. She brings a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach across the lifecycle of a dispute, from pre-dispute counseling through motion practice, trial preparation, and appeals. She also regularly guides clients through arbitration and mediation, and counsels businesses on data protection, risk management, platform regulation, and related compliance considerations.
Gabriella’s litigation practice includes corporate governance disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and a wide range of contract matters. She has led and supported internal reviews and responded to external investigations before regulatory and enforcement authorities. Her matters span the technology, financial services, political law, food and beverage, education, real estate, and entertainment sectors.
Gabriella maintains an active pro bono practice centered on protecting constitutional rights. Her work includes representing asylum seekers, advocating for service members barred from military service based on gender identity, and supporting matters that advance gun safety measures and the freedom to read.
An active member of her communities, Gabriella mentors students and fellow lawyers and regularly engages in civic and professional service. Prior to joining Perkins Coie, she served as a law fellow to the Hon. Claire C. Cecchi of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. During law school, she was a judicial intern for the Hon. Jenny Rivera of the New York State Court of Appeals.
