Emily represents clients from diverse industries in civil litigation in federal and state court and in arbitration. She has litigated a range of commercial matters, including breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, and other business torts. Emily has handled all stages of litigation, including motion practice, e-discovery, depositions, mediation, and evidentiary hearings.
Emily is committed to pro bono work and has represented a wide range of clients. As a member of a cross-office Perkins Coie team, Emily is currently representing detained immigrants who are suing a detention center operator for forcing them to participate in a voluntary work program.
In 2020, Emily clerked for the Hon. Anne Y. Shields of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. While in law school, Emily interned for the Hon. Leonard Wexler of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and externed at the New York Office of the Attorney General in the Charities Bureau.
