Elise Edlin is experienced in all aspects of patent litigation from pre-filing analysis through trial and post-trial motions, focusing on complex litigation in federal courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. She has represented clients in a wide range of technologies including networking, semiconductor fabrication, power management, voice over IP, wireless communications, data processing, medical devices, drug treatments, and power grids.
Elise has experience managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, partnering with experts on reports, preparing witnesses, drafting various motions, and participating in all aspects of trial preparation and trial. She has also successfully argued hearings in District Court. In addition to technical subject matter, Elise has extensive experience litigating damages, including for standardized technologies with FRAND requirements, and equitable defenses. She has represented various pro bono clients in matters including Veterans’ appeals, Asylum hearings and civil rights litigation.
