Overview

David Anstaett is a partner in Perkins Coie’s Intellectual Property and Patent Litigation practices. He is a first-chair trial and appellate lawyer who represents clients in intellectual property disputes and commercial litigation, with a particular focus on representing pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients in complex patent litigation. David has litigated patent infringement matters and licensing disputes in federal courts throughout the country, at the Federal Circuit, and at the International Trade Commission. David has also argued high stakes pharmaceutical cases in inter partes review (IPR) proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He also counsels pharmaceutical companies on regulatory strategies and all aspects of the Hatch-Waxman Act. David’s practice also includes election and political law litigation and counseling.
