David Martinez counsels companies, private equity sponsors, and other investors in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, project equity, growth equity, and recapitalizations. He is experienced in many industries, including in technology, AI, aerospace and defense, agribusiness, energy and infrastructure, biotechnology, healthcare, and business services. David also advises boards of directors and founders on venture-backed and closely held sale transactions.
Regularly advising on investments out of and into the United States, David has substantial experience in navigating the complexities of cross-border transactions across a broad range of industries. He previously worked for two years in Japan, counseling Japanese clients on outbound investments.
An active member of the Seattle community, David is a board trustee of Pacific Northwest Research Institute and a board director of Leadership Tomorrow.
