Overview

Daniel Ridlon defends companies in product liability litigation and counsels on risk avoidance and regulatory compliance. He has represented a wide range of companies, including The Boeing Company, Google, Honeywell, T-Mobile and other manufacturers. A former JAG with first-chair courtroom experience, Dan provides assertive and practical solutions to protect clients from liability exposure and high-damage claims.

In the areas of aviation and high-tech consumer products, Dan has defended aviation manufacturers in litigation involving general aviation aircraft, helicopters, business jets and commercial aircraft. He is currently representing an aircraft manufacturer in litigation arising out of the crash of Asiana Flight 214 at San Francisco International Airport. Outside of the aviation sector, Dan is currently defending a cell phone carrier against plaintiffs claiming that mobile phones cause brain tumors.

Understanding that litigation avoidance is of great value to his clients, Dan counsels on efficient ways they can minimize, eliminate and prevent risks, and advises on product warnings that reduce risk exposure. He also provides comprehensive guidance on regulatory compliance related to his clients’ products.
