Overview

Courtney Otto is an associate in Perkins Coie's Litigation practice in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.

Courtney draws upon her experience analyzing complex statutes as a student advocate of Boston University School of Law’s Compliance Policy Clinic and as a Matthew Z. Gomes fellow of the BU/MIT Technology Law Clinic (now known as the BU/MIT Student Innovations Clinic). She also has completed the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) program through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

Courtney received her Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law, graduating cum laude. While attending Boston University School of Law, Courtney served as executive editor of the Journal of Science & Technology Law, received two Dean’s Awards (Introduction to Risk Management and Compliance and Advanced Privacy Law), and completed a concentration in risk management and compliance (with honor designation) and a specialization in privacy and data security.
