Anthony (Tony) Baskin Senior Discovery Consultant

Tony is a senior discovery consultant and leader within the firm’s E-Discovery Services & Strategy (ESS) practice. Despite still having a yahoo.com personal email address, Tony strives to be at the cutting edge of e-discovery and other litigation technology. He has extensive experience consulting on projects in a variety of the firm’s practice areas, including Political Law, White Collar & Investigations, Business Litigation, Labor & Employment Law, and Product Liability, as well as many other non-litigation areas that involve the review and analysis of data by and for lawyers.

A former employee at the e-discovery software company, DISCO, Tony helped create the current ESS DISCO offering. He now leads the firm’s ESS team, devoted to assisting Perkins Coie attorneys and paralegals use DISCO creatively and effectively. Additionally, Tony was instrumental in bringing data forensics in-house and excels at advising on budget-conscious solutions using all of the available litigation software to create case-tailored tools and workflows.

In prior roles as a litigation associate and technology project manager at non-law firm vendors, Tony managed dozens of large review teams, leaving him well suited to assist with all types of e-discovery projects, from data retention and processing, to review and trial preparation. Tony is the firm’s go-to advisor on all things e-discovery.
