Partner Ali Mirsaidi represents companies ranging from startups to large enterprise businesses on intellectual property, technology and other transactional matters, with an emphasis on emerging and innovative technologies; artificial intelligence and machine learning; media; interactive entertainment and video games; chips; and SaaS, cloud, and software offerings.

Ali assists clients in a variety of complex commercial transactions, including licenses for content, software and data, development agreements, hardware design, procurement and manufacturing agreements, distribution and reseller agreements, master services agreements and consulting agreements, and branding agreements and licenses. Ali also advises clients on intellectual property and technology issues relating to mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, and other business transactions.

Ali regularly provides his clients with product counseling throughout the product development lifecycle, from business strategy and contract negotiation to product and service launch and distribution. He also advises clients on user experience, privacy, open source, marketing and advertising, and content-related issues.

In addition, Ali has litigation experience in matters concerning patent infringement for leading technology providers and leverages this experience to help his clients avoid common pitfalls of licensing and other technology transactions.
