Which of these many traits and behaviors are the most essential to effective leadership in our current environment and into the future? And how do we develop lawyers with these essential traits and behaviors to lead our law firms? Notably, there are several key traits and behaviors highlighted repeatedly in the plethora of articles and research: communication and people skills, emotional intelligence, the ability to persuade and inspire others, effective relationship building, listening well, the ability to drive execution, and gravitas.
