LOS ANGELES (October 13, 2023)—Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that Amir Gamliel, a bankruptcy and restructuring partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office, has been named one of the 2023 “40 under 40” Emerging Leaders in Insolvency Practice by the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI).   

The ABI is the largest multidisciplinary, nonpartisan organization dedicated to research and education on matters related to insolvency. ABI was founded in 1982 to provide Congress and the public with unbiased analysis of bankruptcy issues. Its membership includes nearly 10,000 lawyers, accountants, bankers, judges, professors, lenders, turnaround specialists, and other bankruptcy professionals, providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and information.  

Amir represents clients in business reorganizations, out-of-court restructuring work, and litigation involving complex financial transactions. He is experienced in such industry sectors as finance, including commercial mortgage-backed securities, technology, aerospace, real estate, and retail.
