Ruthzee Louijeune Associate



Ruthzee Louijeune is an associate in the firm's Political Law practice. While a Legislative Intern in the office of United States Senator John F. Kerry, Ruthzee drafted memoranda regarding education and small business legislation and drafted proposals for the Senator’s staff regarding pending immigration legislation. During law school, Ruthzee was appointed to the External Advisory Committee for the redesign of Boston Public Schools’ student assignment process by the late Mayor Thomas M. Menino. Ruthzee also worked for the Democratic National Committee as a Voter Protection Legal Intern where she researched the development of voting laws across the country and the constitutional issues raised by the casting and counting of provisional ballots. She continued her voter protection work in Florida with Organizing for America during the 2012 presidential election.
