Overview

Associate Alejandra Jimenez has experience in a variety of litigation matters, including employment litigation and general commercial disputes. In the employment realm, Alejandra has worked on matters successfully defending clients in various employment mediation proceedings, including leading discovery, drafting briefings, and meaningfully participating in the mediation proceedings. She has substantial experience in the areas of employment discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination arising under California state laws. She also provides counseling to clients in drafting employment handbooks and policies. In the commercial litigation realm, Alejandra has experience resolving complex contractual disputes, including those involving misrepresentation, anticipatory breach, and enforcing arbitration agreements.

Alejandra is committed to a robust pro bono practice. She has represented an asylum-seeking family from Guatemala fleeing domestic violence, and a transgender woman fleeing police violence in El Salvador in the Los Angeles Immigration Court. 

Alejandra earned her J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, where she served as associate editor for the UCLA Law Review and editor for the Chicana/o - Latina/o Law Review.
