Litigation associate attorney Lauren Staniar has substantial experience in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, which she gained in two judicial clerkships. She most recently served Judge Morgan B. Christen and prior to that served Judge Richard C. Tallman. Lauren was also a judicial extern for Judge James L. Robart of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.
Lauren’s background includes working for Perkins Coie as a summer associate in the Commercial Litigation practice as well as a summer internship with the Snohomish County Public Defender Association, where she researched criminal law issues and drafted pre-trial motions. Prior to attending law school, Lauren worked as a legislative director for a Washington, D.C. consulting firm, guiding nonprofits, medical schools, patient groups and healthcare providers. While attending University of Washington School of Law, Lauren was the editor-in-chief of the Washington Law Review.
