K. Shiek Pal Senior Counsel

OVERVIEW

Shiek Pal is a senior counsel with the firm's Litigation practice with a focus on antitrust, global competition and merger review. He has extensive experience representing companies in mergers, joint ventures, and complex cross-border transactions, and navigating deals through regulatory clearance in the U.S., E.U., and other foreign jurisdictions. Shiek has also represented companies and individuals in civil and criminal investigations by federal agencies including the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Shiek regularly advises on Hart-Scott-Rodino filings, and foreign merger control notifications, and counsels clients on all aspects of antitrust compliance. He has represented companies in a variety of industries, including defense, insurance, financial exchanges, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and media and entertainment, among others.
