Heather focuses her practice on patent litigation matters having handled various aspects of district court, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), and U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) litigation matters including prior art analyses, inter partes review drafting, and legal analysis and briefing.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Heather was an electrical engineer at Orbital ATK where she designed rocket motor ignition safety devices and oversaw production of a canopy fracture initiation system. Heather has a B.S.E. in electrical engineering from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University (ASU). A significant portion of Heather’s time at ASU was dedicated to work on her research and development teams. Heather’s capstone project was designing, building, and testing a solar-powered drone with the goal of extending the drone’s flight time.
