David Delmar has experience with a variety of real estate matters. He has defended clients against mortgage deficiency claims and has managed breach of commercial lease litigation. He has drafted cohabitation agreements and researched various legal topics, including subprime mortgage fraud, violations of state Consumer Protection Act, claims in recoupment and debt collection practices. David has also represented clients in insurance recovery, general commercial and construction defect litigation.
While attending Harvard Law School, David volunteered as a student advocate at the Legal Services Center, where he represented clients in predatory lending and other consumer matters, and offered legal advice regarding foreclosure prevention methods. He also interned in the Appeals Division of the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General and for the Boston Municipal Court in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
