Chian Wu Partner

Chian Wu is the firmwide chair of the Financial Transactions practice. She focuses her practice on representing public and private companies, financial institutions, and private equity funds in all aspects of commercial lending, real estate financings, venture debt financings, and capital market financings. Chian has experience advising lenders and borrowers with respect to domestic and cross-border syndicated credit facilities lending in Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, and Japan. She counsels clients on asset-based lending transactions, software as a service (SaaS) lending, acquisition financing, secured and unsecured credit facilities, term loan As, term loan Bs, letters of credit transactions, credit tenant loans, and real estate loans for the acquisition, development, construction, and permanent financing of various types of properties. Chian has extensive experience in industry-specific banking and financial transactions involving media and communications, maritime lending, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, construction, agriculture, technology, intellectual property (IP), and hospitality.
