Overview

Chian Wu is the firmwide chair of the Financial Transactions practice. She focuses her practice on representing public and private companies, financial institutions, and private equity funds in all aspects of commercial lending, real estate financings, venture debt financings, and syndicated credit facilities. Chian has experience advising lenders and borrowers with respect to domestic and cross-border syndicated credit facilities lending in Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, Japan, asset-based lending transactions, SaaS lending, acquisition financing, secured and unsecured credit facilities, letters of credit transactions, and real estate loans for the acquisition, development, construction, and permanent financing of various types of properties. She has extensive experience in industry-specific banking and financial transactions involving media and communications, maritime lending, manufacturing, construction, agriculture, technology, intellectual property, and hospitality. Her representative clients include Alaska Communications, Alliant Energy, Axos Bank, Blueprint Capital, Genesis Capital, MUFG Union Bank, Omega Morgan, Top-Line Furniture, U.S. Bank, and Wells Fargo Bank.
